La 25ème "Fête de la Transhumance et de la vache Aubrac" aura lieu Dimanche 28 mai 2006 au village d'Aubrac, à 1300 m, au coeur des estives, dix éleveurs, accompagnés de leurs troupeaux décorés de houx, fleurs, cloches et sonnailles, et des traditionnels attelages de chevaux, seront présentés à Aubrac, avant de continuer leur marche vers l'estive.
L'association Traditions en Aubrac est organisatrice et partenaire d'actions visant à valoriser le patrimoine de l'Aubrac.
La Transhumance est née d'une pratique agricole devenue une tradition, une fête, que les hommes s'accordent lors de la montée des troupeaux en estive.
"Salon du Terroir Aubrac", les 27 et 28 mai 2006 au village d'Aubrac, au contact direct des hommes qui perpétuent les savoir-faire et traditions de notre terroir : éleveurs et filières de qualité, producteurs fermiers et artisans locaux, groupes folkloriques,...
